Biography and Artistic Journey

my journey began…

in early youth, I found joy in creative expression: handicrafts, music, pottery, writing.
In 1989, I became an author with Gräfe & Unzer, Munich, publishing a non-fiction book on stress management, and I’ve continued writing poetry to this day—without publication.

2019, ma first contact with colors. I began painting (at the age of 70), inspired by grandchildren and a desire for new forms of expression. Since then, I have been experimenting primarily autodidactically with colors, both digital and analog techniques. A variety of color-intensive compositions emerged, leading to the creation of the Pfalz Pop Art © art label (trademark protected).

This is my style…

The hallmarks of Pfalz Pop Art © are bright colors and harmonious compositions. Detailed elaboration shapes the distinctiveness and recognizability of the works. Inspirations for the motifs stem from popular architectural structures, organic forms, nature, and interpersonal encounters. Wordplay, humorous elements, and aphorisms complement the pieces, inviting smiles, reflection, and dialogue. The artistic intent is to unite mindfulness and innovative impulses, contributing positively to the shaping of human coexistence. The vibrant works act as a bridge for communication, encouraging joy and inspiring new ideas in everyday life.

- Opening my gallery in the City Center of Bad Dürkheim in 2023 as a Meeting point for creatives

Regional exhibitions and collaborations

I am also active regionally, showcasing Pfalz Pop Art © art at art markets, town halls, hospitals, cafés, libraries, churches, and retail stores. Commissioned paintings with requested motifs and formats are particularly popular. Themed exhibitions in combination with lectures/seminars upon request are a special joy for me. My art Brings joy wherever I exhibit it, naturally also in my gallery here in Bad Dürkheim, in gallery Workshops “JOYN MY ART,” and much more.

Previous Qualifications

- State Nursing Exam (University Children’ s Clinic Mannheim, Psychosomatic/Therapeutic Clinic)

- Certifications with DOSB (German Sports Federation), many Years of leading Sportes classes in clubs

- Self-employiert; studies in naturopathy, licensed naturopath with own practice (pain therapy)

- Member of the local art association and Choir, book author with Gräfe & Unzer, Munich, 1989

Social Engagement

It is a matter close to my heart to alleviate hardship. For example, I support drinking water projects in Ghana and other social initiatives—both regionally and internationally. Pfalz Pop Art © art promotes social projects through raffles/auctions, with 100% of the proceeds flowing directly to the respective projects, without bureaucratic hurdles. See also www.pfalz-pop.de

What’s next… Visions

Pfalz Pop Art © stands for joy in life. Bright colors and life-affirming motifs are meant to continue making people happy, give courage, and provide strength to overcome life’s obstacles. Thank God, I have so far been able to inspire with good health and my art—and I hope to continue being useful to others in future creative years. I am deeply grateful to all who have accompanied and inspired me on this journey so far and going forward. Talents can enhance quality of life and happiness—let’s do it! I look forward to continued collaborations and exchanges with fellow artists, new international art exhibitions, and activities in support of the quality of life for people and nature.
