Mechthilde Gairing’s Artistic Journey

ARTISTIC CARRIER

·         Early enthusiasm for creative pursuits: handicrafts, music, pottery, writing

·         1989: Publication of a non-fiction book on stress management with Gräfe & Unzer, Munich

·         Since then: Unpublished poetry and ongoing literary activity

·         2019: Began painting at the age of 70, inspired by her grandchildren and her own creative needs

·         Experimental, self-taught approach: digital and analogue techniques, intense colour worlds

·         Founding of the art label Pfalz Pop Art © (protected by trademark law)
